India Strikes Pakistan, Claims Anti-Terror Operation; Pakistan Reports Casualties

India confirmed targeting nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir in a military operation launched on May 7, citing intelligence that these sites were hubs for planning attacks against Indian interests. U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the situation hours after the strikes, urging restraint: "I just hope it ends very quickly." The international community remains on high alert as fears mount over potential escalation between the two rivals, both armed with nuclear capabilities.
